Art and photography

Welcome to my art portfolio. I am a wildlife enthusiast and amateur artist whose creative work moves between bird watching, campus wildlife, colored pencil drawing, watercolor painting, and science illustration.

I ventured into wildlife photography in 2024 with the nickname ScrubJ. I also blend my academic interests with art, making illustrations of scientific concepts, particularly around my own research in neuroscience, and creating thesis defense posters for colleagues.
